The Québec hay marketing Forum was created in 2013 in order to give hay producers and suppliers a flexible structure within the CQPF.

Objectives of the Forum:
- Favour the exchange of ideas and information, and the acquisition of knowledge regarding growing, processing and marketing forage products;
- Organize activities, events, trips and conferences;
- Organize information clinics (on hay growing, harvest, drying and storage);
- Promote Québec hay on domestic and export markets by different means (website, brochures, shows and conferences).
Advantages of being a Forum member:
- Through their affiliation with the CQPF, members of the Forum benefit from a showcase on the CQPF’s website. They are identified on the website with their business contact information.
- Members are an integral part of the CQPF organization, thus receiving its administrative services and gaining by the competence of this experienced representative of the sector.
- They have the opportunity to join in the Forage Export and Domestic Development Committee, a structure set up by the Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA);
- Members participate in the activities of the CFGA, which benefits from the Canadian government’s AgriMarketing Program, and ensures a national representation;
- They actively contribute in developing the Forum.
- They take part in activities exclusive to the Forum members.
